Our favourite time of year is back!!! As the 2018/19 Melbourne United season kicks into gear, we are excited to be on board for our 6th straight season as their official hip hop crew.
After Melbourne Tigers owner seen us on Australia’s Got Talent in 2012 he tracked us down and told us he needed entertainers like us on his team. Since then we have seen them rebranded into Melbourne United and have been entertaining the crowds with energetic hip hop and breaking performances. It is the best gig we could ask for and are beyond lucky to call it our office every weekend. Here is what our day looks like:
A typical Superhoodz dancers day at Melbourne United:
- Pre-game rehearsal and team meeting
- Pre-game entertainment. Superhoodz are divided to dance inside and outside the venue, pumping up the crowd before the game. Here you will find us dancing with the kids, taking photos, getting the crowd excited and showing off our skills until game time
- Game time entertainment. Every week is different and includes performing during the game in timeouts, and half time shows as well as working the crowd.
- Home time via our free Bulla ice cream after the game
