We can’t believe another SDS Showcase is done! We all have a little showcase hangover but are still on a high from the night. Every showcase still totally WOWs us. It is more than amazing to see how hard the students have worked and how far they’ve come.
This is the first year we have split the shows into a junior and senior show and it was huge a success.
The younger ones loved having their own show and still had lots of energy to burn by the end. Tiny tots always has the crowd mesmerised with their cuteness and Chesson and The Gamers was a huge hit. Minihoodz closed the show with a killer routine and absolute professionalism. We are so proud of their effort and training.
The senior show was a pure display of ability and personality. SDS Crew are getting better and better every year and Juniorhoodz are closely following in their footsteps. Superhoodz amazed with another flawless show.
Highlight of the night was of course Parent Jam (or Parenthoodz as they call themselves). Many parents had never been on stage before but to see them get up and kill it. Seriously AMAZING effort. A serious congratulations to Paige for the work she has done with them, the encouragement and making them feel comfortable to hit that stage.
To wrap up we just want to say a big THANK YOU to all of our students, families, and everyone who attended. Thank you for bringing your kids every week, for coming to the showcase, for loving dance, celebrating hip-hop and making our dreams at Street Dance Studios possible. You guys really are family #sdsfam.
